When you create an account, we collect your name and email address via our authentication provider (WorkOS). When you subscribe to a plan, payment information is processed securely by Stripe - we never store your full card details.
We also collect usage data such as API requests, tool invocations, and credit consumption to operate the service and enforce plan limits.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the transformSEO service
- Process transactions and send billing-related communications
- Send service updates and respond to support requests
- Monitor usage for plan enforcement and abuse prevention
3. API Credits & Data Processing
transformSEO uses third-party APIs (including DataForSEO) to provide SEO analysis. Queries you make through MCP tools are sent to these providers for processing. We log tool invocations and credit usage but do not sell or share your query data with third parties beyond what is necessary to fulfill the request.
4. Third-Party Services
We integrate with the following services:
- WorkOS - authentication and user management
- Stripe - payment processing and subscription billing
- DataForSEO - SEO data provider (keyword research, backlinks, SERP data)
- Google APIs - Search Console and Analytics integrations (when connected)
Each service has its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Historical metrics (keyword rankings, analytics data) are retained for the duration specified by your plan tier. You may request a data export or account deletion at any time from your profile settings.
6. Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, secure authentication via WorkOS, and encrypted storage of sensitive credentials. API tokens are hashed and Google OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data via the data export feature
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Withdraw consent for optional data processing
